Play-Based Curriculum
Our play-based curriculum fosters holistic development through purposeful exploration. Children build social skills during collaborative play, develop cognitive abilities through problem-solving activities, and enhance physical coordination through active engagement. This approach nurtures creativity while establishing foundational academic skills for kindergarten readiness.
Community Involvement
Family participation strengthens our school community through volunteer opportunities. Parents contribute 20 annual hours supporting classroom activities, fundraising events, and maintenance projects. This involvement creates lasting connections while keeping tuition costs manageable and enhancing the overall educational experience for all students.
Field Trips
Educational field trips connect classroom learning to real-world experiences. Children visit local farms, libraries, and wildlife centers to explore themes like nature, community helpers, and science. These outings reinforce curriculum concepts while developing observational skills and expanding cultural awareness through hands-on discovery.
Developmental Focus
Our program emphasizes personalized development across all domains. Children build self-confidence through independent exploration, develop emotional regulation during social interactions, and strengthen fine motor skills through creative art projects. Teachers observe interests to tailor activities that challenge each child at their appropriate developmental level.
Parent Participation
The Pixie Partnership Program involves families in school operations. Parents assist with classroom activities, event planning, and facility maintenance. This collaboration fosters deeper understanding of child development, creates support networks among families, and maintains our high-quality program through shared responsibility and community investment.
