Equine Medical Service was established in 1999 with a commitment to excellence in equine veterinary care and unparalleled client service. Since integrating with Large Animal Veterinary Service in 2000, we have expanded our capabilities under Dr. Allen Landes' leadership, serving Fort Collins and surrounding areas. Our ambulatory units are equipped with advanced tools including a traveling pharmacy, surgical instruments, radiology equipment, and diagnostic labs for bloodwork, cytology, and parasitology. We offer 24/7 emergency services and utilize cutting-edge technologies like digital radiography and endoscopy for immediate diagnosis and treatment. Our surgical expertise covers procedures such as castrations and tumor removals, while our preventive medicine programs focus on vaccinations, nutrition, and dental care.

We maintain strong affiliations with equine specialists in internal medicine, lameness, ophthalmology, and alternative therapies to provide comprehensive care. Our team delivers farm call visits, reproductive services, and sports medicine diagnostics using portable ultrasound and lameness evaluation tools.
