Crossroads has been a trusted name in the Iowa City and Coralville area since 1997. Our founder, Steve Barjonah, began his tattoo career in 1988 while serving in the U.S. Navy, where he apprenticed under a shipmate and honed his craft. After honorable discharge, Steve continued his training at Avalon Tattoo alongside renowned artists, later establishing Crossroads to provide high-quality body art. We prioritize professionalism, using only premium pigments and state-certified sterilization methods monitored monthly by the University of Iowa. Our autoclave sterilizer ensures safety, and our team takes pride in guiding clients through the entire tattoo processfrom design selection to final execution.
