Your Home Away From Home in Downtown Lansing
Cozy Koi Bed & Breakfast was founded in 2007 by Diane Sanborn, a Lansing-area real estate broker seeking to diversify her professional endeavors during a challenging market period. The historic main house, built in 1906, was meticulously restored to residential use after serving as a doctor's office for three decades. Adjacent to this landmark, the 1896 cottage was acquired in 2007 and transformed through extensive renovations to create additional guest accommodations. Our property features meticulously landscaped grounds with tranquil Koi ponds, a gazebo, and the tallest oak tree in downtown Lansing, offering guests a serene retreat. With eight uniquely themed rooms across two buildings, we combine antique charm with modern comforts, including high-speed internet, curated libraries, and private event spaces. Our central location provides easy access to Michigan State University, the Capitol Building, and Lansing's cultural attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. As a locally owned business, we take pride in hosting travelers from around the world and contributing to the community through hospitality and service excellence.
