Christ-Centered Education for Lifelong Learning
Peoria Christian School has been dedicated to providing Christ-centered education for 70 years, rooted in a biblical worldview. Founded in 1950 by a group of parents seeking Christian instruction for their children, the school now serves over 610 students across two campuses in Peoria, Illinois. Our mission supports Christian homes and churches by preparing students for Christ-like lives through academic excellence and spiritual growth. We offer programs from preschool through 12th grade, including AP, honors, and dual-credit courses, alongside a robust athletics and fine arts curriculum. Accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and AdvancED North Central Association, we maintain rigorous academic standards while fostering a nurturing environment. Our faculty consists entirely of Christ-following educators committed to student development in faith, knowledge, and character.

With three National Blue Ribbon Awards recognizing our elementary and high school programs, we emphasize college and career readiness while maintaining a strong spiritual foundation. Our campuses feature modern facilities including technology-integrated classrooms, a new gymnasium, and dedicated spaces for early childhood education through high school. We partner with families to provide before-and-after care services and offer flexible preschool enrollment options. Through international student programs and community outreach, we prepare students to impact the world for Christ while adhering to non-discrimination policies that welcome diverse backgrounds.
