Professional Photographer in St. Louis, MO
I founded Stevenmarx.com with a lifelong passion for capturing moments that tell stories. My journey began in childhood, evolved through decades of practice, and gained momentum a decade ago when I committed to professional photography. The pandemic provided an unexpected opportunity to refine my craft, and now I focus on presenting and sharing my work through this platform. With expertise in nature, event, and custom photography, I combine technical precision with artistic vision to deliver compelling visual narratives. My background in web design and video production enhances my ability to create cohesive multimedia experiences for clients. I hold a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction, which informs my approach to visual communication and client collaboration. My services extend beyond photography to include video production, website development, and technical writing, offering clients a multidisciplinary skill set. I serve locations including St. Louis, Peoria, and Fulton, Illinois, specializing in natural landscapes and cultural events. My work has been featured in galleries like Lone Elk Park and the Peoria Art Guild, with a focus on creating accessible, high-impact visual content.
