Welcome to Community United Church-Christ
We are a welcoming and inclusive faith community dedicated to spiritual growth, service, and fellowship in Provo, Utah. Founded in 1891, our church has served as a beacon of compassion and inclusivity, embracing people from all walks of life. Our mission centers on worship, community engagement, and advocacy for justice, guided by the belief that 'God is still speaking' to all individuals. Through diverse programs like the Utah Valley Interfaith Choir, community outreach initiatives, and historic building stewardship, we strive to create a space where everyone feels valued. Our theological heritage combines reverence for scripture with openness to new ideas, fostering a balance between tradition and progressive values. We actively support social justice causes, including LGBTQ+ inclusion and food security efforts, reflecting our commitment to Christ's call for love and service. With a rich history of hosting cultural events and community programs, we continue to adapt our 1920s-era buildings for modern needs while preserving their historic significance.
