Empowering Adults with Disabilities Through Job Training
ABLE Industries Inc. has been dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities through comprehensive job training and life skills development since 1960. Originally established as the Tulare County Training Center for the Handicapped, we began with a volunteer staff serving fewer than 20 individuals and have grown to support the broader Tulare County region. Our mission focuses on integrating individuals with disabilities into the community through person-centered opportunities that foster empowerment, independence, and meaningful employment. In 2025, we relocated to a state-of-the-art 37,000-square-foot facility in Visalia's Industrial Park, housing our life skills programs, job training initiatives, and competitive integrated employment services. Our programs emphasize personalized coaching, hands-on work experience, and partnerships with local businesses to ensure long-term success for participants.

We offer three core services: Life Skills Training, Job Training with resume and interview preparation, and Job Placement with ongoing on-the-job support. Our team of experienced professionals, including job coaches and program managers, provides tailored guidance to help individuals build confidence, develop workplace competencies, and achieve self-sufficiency. As a Title VI-compliant organization, we maintain strict adherence to non-discrimination policies while offering accessible services to all eligible adults referred through the Central Valley Regional Center. With over six decades of experience, we remain committed to reducing stigma and creating inclusive employment opportunities in the Central Valley community.
