Welcome to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod dedicated to worship, education, and community service. Founded on the principles of Grace Alone, Scripture Alone, and Faith Alone, we provide Sunday worship services with Holy Communion, Sunday School for all ages, and Bible studies throughout the week. Our mission extends beyond local outreach through support for international Gospel workers in Asia and short-term service trips. The church operates a preschool program emphasizing Christian education while fostering academic growth.Led by Pastor D. Keith Beasley since 2000, our community combines traditional Lutheran teachings with modern outreach methods, including livestreamed services and virtual Bible studies. We prioritize accessibility through flexible study formats and locations, including partnerships with Virginia Tech. Our commitment to stewardship and fellowship reflects Christ's Great Commission through worship, service, and mutual edification.
