We are Foster City Library, a community-driven institution dedicated to providing equitable access to knowledge, resources, and cultural enrichment. Our mission is to foster lifelong learning, creativity, and connection by offering a wide range of services including book lending, digital resources, educational programs, and community events. With a focus on inclusivity, we serve individuals of all ages, from children and teens to adults and seniors, through tailored initiatives like literacy programs, job search assistance, and technology training. Our libraries function as welcoming hubs where residents can explore ideas, engage with diverse perspectives, and participate in activities that strengthen social ties. Committed to innovation, we integrate modern tools such as online tutoring platforms, creative workshops, and multimedia resources to meet evolving community needs.

Through partnerships and collaborations, we extend our reach to support education, mental health, and cultural awareness across San Mateo County. Our team of dedicated professionals ensures that every patron receives personalized guidance to navigate our extensive collections and services effectively. By preserving historical records and promoting civic engagement, we empower residents to contribute meaningfully to their communities. As stewards of public knowledge, we uphold principles of accessibility, integrity, and service excellence, ensuring our libraries remain vital assets for generations to come.
