Children participate in special message time, with nursery care available for younger children. The congregation values both reverence and accessibility, welcoming all attire from casual to formal.
Christian Formation
Sunday morning classes at 9:45am cater to all ages, from nursery storytime to adult Bible study. Current offerings include Enneagram personality exploration, poverty theology discussions, and intergenerational learning. Special programs like the Brown Bag Book Club meet monthly for literary discussions over lunch, fostering intellectual and spiritual growth in relaxed settings.
Missions Outreach
Through partnerships with Meals on Wheels, Open Door Ministries, and Justo Coffee Cooperative, we practice faith through action. Members participate in local meal delivery, global coffee trade support, and annual mission trips. Our mission teams focus on poverty alleviation, education, and economic empowerment, living out Christ's call to serve marginalized communities.
Youth Programs
Our youth engage in Sunday afternoon programs that combine faith education with service projects. Annual highlights include the Montreat conference experience and the Spaghetti Lunch fundraiser supporting mission work. Young people lead worship elements, mentor newcomers, and organize community service initiatives, developing leadership skills through practical discipleship.
Prayer Groups
Weekly prayer gatherings focus on congregational needs, global concerns, and spiritual renewal. The Tuesday evening group combines fellowship with structured prayer, while special prayer chains respond to urgent requests.
