Welcome to Cherry Road Baptist Church
Founded in 1956 as a mission of Cherokee Baptist Church, we have grown into a vibrant community of faith rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our worship services blend meaningful traditions with contemporary expressions, offering Sunday morning services at 10:30 AM and Sunday School classes at 9 AM. We provide weekly Bible study sessions led by experienced teachers and maintain a strong focus on community through our Brown Bag Tuesday lunch gatherings and Noon Day Prayer meetings. Our physical campus has evolved with major renovations in 1974-75, 2001, and 2019 to better serve our members' needs. As part of the Shelby Baptist Association, we continue to welcome new visitors with open arms, believing that every individual has a unique place within our congregation.

Our leadership team includes Pastor Tommy Marsh, Associate Pastor Ronnie Elcan, and Song Leader Katina St. John, who guide our spiritual journey together. Located at 1421 Cherry Road in Memphis, Tennessee, our doors remain open to those seeking spiritual growth and community connection. Through decades of service, we've maintained our commitment to biblical teachings while adapting to meet the changing needs of our congregation. Visitors can experience our welcoming atmosphere firsthand through our various weekly gatherings, each designed to foster deeper connections with God and each other. Our history of continuous improvement reflects our dedication to creating an environment where modern worship and traditional values coexist harmoniously.
