At Community Chapel, we are a community of individuals committed to following Jesus and sharing God's hope in our daily lives. Our mission is to create intergenerational partnerships that foster belonging and empower people to become difference-makers in their communities. We offer worship services, discipleship programs, and ministries tailored for all ages, including children, youth, and adults. Our Sunday worship services provide a welcoming environment for spiritual growth through music, prayer, and biblically grounded teachings. We emphasize the importance of community through Journey Groups, which include Bible studies, accountability groups, and discussion forums focused on spiritual development. Our local and global mission initiatives reflect our commitment to serving others and spreading compassion beyond our congregation. We provide childcare and age-appropriate programming during services to ensure families can participate fully. Our team of pastors and volunteers strives to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported in their spiritual journey. We also offer online worship options and recorded sermons for those unable to attend in person. Services
Sunday Worship Services
Our Sunday worship services blend traditional Christian elements with contemporary accessibility. Held at 10:30 AM in our sanctuary, services feature congregational singing, pastoral prayers, and biblically grounded sermons. We provide both in-person and online participation options through Facebook Live. The service format includes announcements, worship music with on-screen lyrics, pastoral prayer, offering, and a 25-30 minute sermon focused on applying scripture to modern life.
Journey Groups
Journey Groups provide structured discipleship opportunities through Bible studies, accountability groups, and discussion forums. These groups meet quarterly for 10-13 weeks, covering topics like theology, spiritual disciplines, relationships, and missions. Available on Sunday mornings and weekday Zoom sessions, they emphasize spiritual growth through shared learning and mutual support. Participants engage in exploring God's character and developing practical applications for daily Christian living.
Children's Ministry
Our children's ministry serves infants through 5th graders with age-appropriate programming. The nursery provides childcare for infants to 3-year-olds during services and Journey Group hours. Children ages 4-5th grade participate in worship activities tailored to their understanding, including learning about God's attributes and character. We offer activity pages and guided worship experiences that integrate children into our church family while providing age-specific spiritual foundations.
Mission Outreach
Our mission outreach combines local and global initiatives to serve communities beyond our congregation. Locally, we support community needs through outreach programs and partnerships. Globally, we participate in Church of the Nazarene international missions and evangelism efforts. These programs provide practical applications of faith through service opportunities that demonstrate God's love while addressing physical and spiritual needs in diverse communities.
