The Green Man Garden & Landscape was founded in 1999 by Christopher J Maler. A lifelong Broward county resident, Chris became interested in landscaping and gardening shortly after high school, and worked for several local landscape companies gaining knowledge and experience as he progressed. He expanded on this knowledge through the Broward Community Colleges Landscape Technology program and the FNGA Nursery and later FNGLA Horticulture Certification Training programs. In the late 90′s, Chris decided to take the plunge and start his own company which became known as The Green Man Garden & Landscape, Inc.

Landscape Design
Whatever style of landscape you seek, your design will be crafted to achieve a balance of form and function, and will always be made with the sustainability of the landscape and working with the local environment in mind. With water conservation a top priority nowadays, we are more conscious than ever about designing with xeriscape principals at all times. Xeriscape means creating water-wise landscapes, by using plants which are appropriate for the local environment. By designing with nature, instead of fighting it: we can create lasting gardens which demand less water, fertilizer, and pesticide use. This saves time, money, and helps the environment, all while creating a beautiful place to unwind, relax and enjoy.
