Business Details
Our center was founded in 2003. GMG Music Center has had national attention from Microsoft, Sprint and MSN. GMG has grown to offer not only music, but also leadership programs in addition to other various art forms. We adopted the best practices of music teaching studios, universities and both private and public schools to create its core curriculum, the GMG System. This allows students the opportunity to learn through sight-reading, ear training, music theory and history, technique, transcription, arranging, composition, improvisation, production and performance through the use of technology and quality instruction.
From our inception in 2003 the arts have played a vital role in not only the overall direction of the company, but also in raising awareness of the importance of music education and forming partnerships with other youth serving organizations and businesses to make programs readily available in the community. Although we provide music education services, the company ties-in various arts forms, awareness and the implementation of community art projects through strong community collaborations.
