I am not a fan of the dentist, but trust me when I say this office is different then any office I have ever been to. From beginning to the end of my appointment the staff and doctors were so kind and made me feel so comfortable! They are professional and down to earth, and the office was extremely clean. I had a crown done and it was much easier than I have ever experienced in the past. I highly recommend this office for anyone who is looking for a long term dental office.

Standard Dental is a refreshing change from other dentists I have used before. It is highly equipped with electronic and sophisticated equipment to assist the Dentists and his staff. Wow! Came here after several frustrating visits with Fusion Dental. Great service and wow were my teeth clean! They used high tech equipment that let me see what they were seeing. Completely professional, friendly, and thorough. Definitely coming back and bringing my husband too!

I wanted to switch my Dentist because I wasn't happy with my current one so I went online looking for good reviews. That's when I found out about this one tucked away in Potomac down Falls Road. The front desk receptionist was very nice, the Dental Assistant, Maydah, was extremely nice and made me feel so comfortable there. Dr. Moaddab was great and took the time to listen to some of my concerns I had and he did an extra check around my mouth to make sure everything looked great and healthy!
The office itself is very beautifully decorated and has very soothing colors everywhere. Overall I had a great first experience and would recommend them to everyone I know in the Montgomery County area!

Ive always hated going to the dentist that is until I met Dr. Melika Shatergholi! She is an extremely talented dentist not to mention very friendly and compassionate. I drive over an hour to see her and will for as long as she is practicing. The entire staff at Standard Dental is warm and friendly making your visit that much more comfortable. They are knowledgeable and make every effort to accommodate you and your schedule.
The office is beautiful with a very clean welcoming environment. Dr. Shatergholi is very gentle and works hard to make sure you are in no pain or discomfort at any point during or after your appointment. She takes the time to sit with you and explain everything that she will be doing and why it is necessary. Im actually excited to see her in 6 months! I am constantly recommending her to my clients, family and friends. I will never go to anyone else again.

Dr. Moaddab and his staff are amazing! They made me feel like a true VIP from the moment I stepped into the office. Not only does this office provide the ultimate customer experience, but Dr. Moaddab has perfected his craft into an ART. After my dentist of several years told me they werent willing to correct a tricky cavity situation, Dr. Moaddab didnt even hesitate to take the challenge! I LOVE Standard Dental! They are the one dentist office that I can genuinely say I enjoy visiting. Everyone from the front office staff, the dental assistants to the drs themselves have always been so kind to me. Dr. Shatergholi and the staff have really went above and beyond for me during a difficult dental situation and I knew that they were not just about making money but they cared about me and my needs! I havent been to the dentist in at least 4 years. Its one of the most unbearable things for me. Dr. Arta was amazing! I went in for a routine check up and cleaning that had been long over due. Dr. Arta was really easy to speak toyou dont get Im a doctor intimidation or smugness from him. The office is well kept and gorgeous. That staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Arta was very gentle throughout the process and always check on me during the checked to see how I was handling the cleaning. Hes someone Id highly recommend, especially if its your first time or are looking for a new doctor! Im actually excited to go back!

Beautiful office, great technology and amazing staff! There was an issue with my insurance and Dr. Melika dealt with the insurance company to get my services and treatment approved so I wouldn't have to pay full price for a crown that should have been covered under my insurance. Also, she cleans my teeth in a way that is gentle and doesn't hurt! Definitely the best dental office I have ever been to.

I started going to Standard Dental after my dentist of many years retired. I could not be happier with the service and professionalism I've experienced at Standard Dental. I particularly like that when undergoing various procedures i am always told what to expect especially if it means that i will experience even the slightest discomfort. I live in DC but don't mind traveling to Potomac for regular visits because of the exceptional personalized service i receive at Standard Dental. That they have Saturday hours means that i don't have to take leave from work for an appointment. I highly recommend Standard Dental for pleasant dental experience.

One of the best dental experiences I've had in a long time! The office is absolutely beautiful - you might as well be waiting for a spa treatment. In addition to the high caliber of the office decor and all the equipment, the staff is truly exceptional.
Dr. Arta Moaddab is an extremely knowledgeable dentist, whose patience and sense of humor created a lasting impression. He took the time to thoroughly clean my teeth, while answering the many questions I had about teeth whitening, and even demonstrated a new flossing technique.
I can honestly say - I look forward to returning for my next dentist appointment!
Dr. Melika Shatergholi also provided remarkable service while filling my cavities. The typically unpleasant experience was actually quick and near painless - which was well beyond my expectations.

I love the fact that he takes his time and doesn't rush. He's the first dentist that explained how to reduce pain when receiving a shot, in case I go to another dentist I can make sure they won't hurt! At most offices I barley talk to the dentist, they come in and out so fast. Dr. Moaddab makes sure he spends the time I need to feel comfortable.

I used to be so nervous to get dental work done, but with Dr. Moaddab it's as if a close friend is taking care of me. I would always give generic answers that I thought were right but when I'm working with him I feel encouraged to tell him everything because I know he wont judge me, he has a way of explaining things so I improve myself instead of feeling like I'm doing things wrong.
