Mar 12, 2023 Report
I was always a nice guy in my mind. Always trying to be helpful and do good. With Peter's help, I recognized that being good also meant being good to myself. In the past, I was resentful for some of the ways I behaved or how I was treated. What I learned is that putting on my own oxygen mask first was the best way for me to be able to give to others and be the nice guy I always knew I was. But, now more authentically so.

I learned saying No was okay, if it meant taking care not to overcommit myself. Asking for help from others to get my needs met was okay too. Setting boundaries. I have Peter to thank for that. Peter helped me see what I was doing that was not working for me. How I was kind of doing this to myself, and why I was frustrated and not happy. My wife and kids are happier too after I started seeing Peter.

Peter has a good sense of humor and is genuinely caring. I appreciate that I was able to find him. I highly recommend him.
