Joe and his partner were excellent to work with. The company overall was great. They were on time, quick, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They provided additional assistance, such as lighting all the pilot lights and setting up the stove after turning off the gas. Overall, the experience was great.

Because of some scheduling difficulties, Alan was not able to make it at 2:00 as planned but he arrived at 3:10 as he had later indicated. He came in and immediately started working...he knew what he was doing, took apart the gas line, taped and re-doped the connection, put everything back together and checked very thoroughly to make sure nothing was leaking and everything was working as it was supposed to. He worked quickly but efficiently and I am definitely impressed with his work as well as the response time of the entire company. Would definitely use them again.

Doug is an excellent technician. He did a beautiful job of cleaning our fireplace and then he gave it a thorough check-up. He even cleaned up after himself so that you really did not know that he had been there. My wife is very happy because he made certain that you could not see the gas pipes and he added more "embers". Hope to have him back next year.

If you're looking to upgrade your fireplace I'd put The Gas Connection at the top of your list for the installation. Alan Briscoe and his colleague Chris (don't have his last name) installed a new fireplace insert this week that I purchased from High Tech Appliance in Louisville. I'm extremely happy with Alan's and Chris's work. They were on time, efficient and very professional. They took the time to answer all my questions and left the area as clean as they found it. After I purchased the new unit, The Gas connection was also quick in scheduling me for the installation appointment. I'm very satisfied with my decision to go with them.

Justin & Joe just worked miracles to manage what might have been the world's most complicated gas stove install in my 1978 house. A plumber referred me to the Gas Connection after he deemed the job too complex, and I am very happy with them. They encountered many, many obstacles in running the gas line but managed to figure out solutions and get my stove installed successfully. Very professional and on-time. Highly recommend.

Doug L. from Gas Connection was my service person and he was absolutely fantastic, polite, and very respectful. Since I have never had a gas fireplace before, he explained how to turn it off as well as how to relight it. He explained how to clean it and why kind of cleaner should be used. A company that hires such great service people will have me as a customer.

Doug is one the rare service professionals who is highly technically competent, honest and straightforward, and extremely client service oriented. We updated a very old fireplace and he advised us of the options we had and provided us the accurate information in order for us to make an informed decision. During the installation/upgrade Doug took care to keep our house clean, ensured that everything was working properly, and made sure we were happy with the looks of the fireplace before locking everything down.
He also took care to coach us through the use of the remote and advised us on the pilot operation. I would recommend Doug to anyone who is wanting a new or upgraded gas fireplace. Thanks so much for your outstanding work. We appreciate it!

Alan came to do my gas install today for my new gas fireplace insert. It was almost 50 ft of piping in the basement. He called ahead, was there on time, and worked energetically for nearly 5 hours non stop. He was so nice and kind. AND he cleaned up any mess. You would never know he was here. Such a pleasant experience! Answered our questions and helped out with other answers too ! The extra mile!

Our key valve for our gas fireplace was leaking and The Gas Connection was able to come out quickly to get everything fixed. Everyone I dealt with was awesome from the person who answered my first phone call to the scheduler all the way through to Joe and Travis. Joe and Travis came to my house to perform the work. They were friendly, quick, and did a great job. They had to cut into the drywall to repair the valve and they did a really neat job with it and were able to put the drywall back up so we can quickly patch and repair it. They cleaned up after themselves and ensured all of our gas appliances were up and running again before leaving. I would recommend The Gas Connection to anyone.

Fire pit installation by John and Aaron of the Gas Connection. Originally I thought the quote was high, but after receiving multiple bids, the Gas Connection were right on and lower than most others. The install by John and Aaron was first right. They did a really clean install and respected the interior of my house by putting down mats on the carpet and running the gas line from my laundry room to the exterior of the house with great care for the old brick and kept the interior appearance of the line very clean.
They took the extra step of installing interior and exterior shut offs, as well as walking me through the system they installed. Overall a great experience and you couldn't ask for two better installers. Very happy, A++
