Southland really came through with price, workman ship and customer service. The crew they sent out to install my new furnace was top notch. They really new what they were doing. The foreman really new his trade and how to get things done. They finished the job in one day. They had 10 workers install 2 furnaces. I am really happy with the job. I got a HERS test, which is to show if there is any leak in the duct work. Anything below 5% is acceptable. My units came in at 3 and 4%. The person that came out to do the test from another company was really impressed by the ratings.

Dave Molina was very knowledgeable and professional in putting together Southland's bid with a very competitive price. After signing a contract, see sent out a crew of installer who worked like a well oiled team. They protected our carpet, and walls and finished a total renovation and replacement of our forced air unit and ductwork in two days. We waited for weather to get cold and then did air balance - returning a couple of times, fine tuning each time. We recommend them to anyone.

Southland did AC maintenance under LADWP AC Optimization Program. Bryan arrived on time and performed the maintenance using booties inside to protect the hardwood floors. He showed me how to change the filter and patiently explained how to use the new Nest thermostat he installed. He was polite, personable and carefully cleaned up when he was finished. I would have no qualms about calling or recommending Southland for any HVAC issue.

He did the maintenance, showed me how to replace the air filter and installed a new Nest thermostat, taking the time needed to show me how to use it, patiently answering all my questions. He carefully vacuumed up the area under the thermostat. He was courteous, personable and professional. I would not hesitate to call Southland again or to recommend them to others.

Are 18 year old furnace and A/C was in need of repairs the local contractor wanted 1400 to patch it together . Realizing the patch would probably only last a year I called south land they came out the same day and gave us an estimate to replace the entire system and gave us 5 years interest free financing. Workers showed up 3 days later and in 8 hours we are feeling really comfortable in our newly air conditioned house . Great job Southland!!!

I was having trouble with my nest. The air and cooling was working, but the heat was not. They gave me a 3 hour window, between 2 and 5. The coordinator was great. She called us at 10 till 2 and said the guy would be there closer to 5. That was very much appreciated. Nobody likes to wait around.
Anyhow, the guy came and was very efficient. He fixed the issue quickly. He was Personable and thorough. He gave us an in depth inspection while he was here. The price was less than quoted on the phone. Very satisfied. I will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Been looking to replace our 40 year old furnace and install central air conditioning. Almost pulled the trigger with another company 2 years ago but so glad we didn't. The original founder/co-owner, Ray, came out to the south bay area all the way from Thousand Oaks (2+ hours with traffic).

Ray didn't try to up-sell anything but was really about educating us on making the best decision for our needs and wants. His knowledge and thorough explanation of how everything worked and the pro's and con's to each really helped with our decision making process. He also was so knowledgeable with city codes, rules, and regulations and ensured we do things the right way.

Extremely personable and professional. As promised an estimate recapping everything discussed with various options was sent that same day. A huge plus was that they were able to do everything in one day. Prices were more than fair and competitive. We didn't even bother with other estimates after our meeting. Ana and Lisa in accounting were tremendous in helping us take care of all the contracts and paperwork throughout the week.

Install day was a week from the initial meeting and the crew showed up on time and were just as professional and personable as Ray and business office crew. You could tell they took pride in their work and loved what they do. Such a well-oiled machine and can't imagine any company doing better. Really I don't think there is one. Everything looks amazing and they really do respect your home and leave it not only looking the same but better.
