Dr Cook is the nicest, gentlest, GYN doctor ever! She always greets you with a hug, and explains everything in terms that you actually understand. This is no woman's favorite appointment, and she knows that. She is very positive and is genuinely glad you are there. Her nurse is just as awesome! I highly recommend this practice. Thank you Dr Cook!

Go through the Gainesville office, even if you dont live in Gainesville its worth it. Service from the support staff at the Lake City office is abhorrent. I never have an issue with the Gainesville office staff and I will gladly make the 40 minute drive to Gainesville versus the 5 minute drive to the Lake City office.

My wife and I both would recommend them to anyone , they were very concerned with our wants and the health of our new baby boy. We were treated like guest at a nice hotel and shown understanding and compassion we are thoroughly happy with our experience!

I delivered In Aug 2015 and the staff was amazing in L&D! I wouldnt change a thing about my experience. The nurses went above and beyond for me and my daughter as we had complications and although (sadly) I dont remember my doctors name: SHE WAS AMAZING!! She stayed after her shift was over (i believe she pulled a double.) she stayed just to make sure i would deliver safely.

I love the girls at the Lake City office. They are so caring and understanding. Its really great to go to the Dr. And the staff knows you by name and remembers your situation. I have never been called by name is Gainesville. Or treated with as much care and compassion in Gainesville as I always am in Lake City.

This is the BEST gyn I have every been to. I have been seeing Dr. Cook for the last 4 years and think she is wonderfully compassionate and really takes the time to address any concerns and make you feel taken care of. Also, most recently, the office staff has been so VERY helpful with helping me get my records sent off, which turned into a big ordeal, but they saved the day and were so wonderful during the whole process.

I cannot say enough good things about this office. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. The waiting room is lovely, with a play area for younger children, but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. ( Having said that, I have heard them chastise other patients who were late, so it all goes with running a tight ship.) Appointments are seen on time. I get smiles and even hugs from the nurses every time I go. Dr. Iobst ( His Bedside manner is awkward, but he's an amazing Dr and a fine surgeon) delivered my second child here in ''08 via c-secion.
The experience was as smooth as can be and my post-op pain was so much better than what I experienced the first time( with a different dr and hospital). North Fl Regional is a fantastic place to deliver! I'm now driving from out of town so I can have my 3rd child here. Its completely worth it!
