I was little worried my 5 year daughter has been shy and reserved in her kindergarten class because her first language was not English. Director Mr Hwang assured me she would catch up real fast and now I see her progress only in a week since she joined Optimus. She loves to go to Optimus and chat about her classes and teachers there. Now I begin to worry what if her vacation is over and go back to her school.

We had been struggling with homework for awhile and was looking for an afterschool program where our son could get some dedicated help and develop a basis for good study habits. We had looked into Optimus after seeing their van do pick ups at the school and after meeting with the Optimus director, we felt this was one of the best options for our family. Their after school program is geared toward academics and that is what we were looking for.

Our goal was not to get him help with completing homework, (without spending hours and hours in the evening at home, battling back and forth). We were also searching for help in developing a responsible and positive attitude toward studying. We felt that with those two goals accomplished, better grades would soon follow. The effects of the school were almost immediate. Within a very short time, (a week or so) our son was completing his homework while at optimus and after picking him up and coming home, we were able to enjoy time as a family eating dinner and doing fun things in the evening instead of fighting and late nights doing homework.

We've been happy clients going into our third year now with Optimus. Our sons grades have gotten better and better and this past semester, he got his best report card yet! He has good study habits now and understands how important good grades are. There have been a few times where we went to pick him up but he asked that we instead come back later so he could finish his homework.

Optimus has been great and has exceeded our expectations.

They have additional academic programs for young kids to do once their home work has been completed, such as a reading club. They also have a computer coding class that our son LOVES!

This place is so great! My cousin has been coming here for their summer camp and it is such a great program. She has daily lessons in math, reading, vocabulary, and writing, and there are other fun classes like presentation class, science experiments, piano, and even cooking! I love seeing what kinds of projects she will come home with every week! The staff is all very friendly and professional. They really care about their students.

And I love the OLS app, which lets parents track their child's academic and behavior scores every day and see comments from teachers. I would definitely recommend Optimus to anyone in Orange County looking for a fun and awesome summer camp or afterschool program.

Optimus Learning School is an amazing learning program for students go to. I have been very pleased with my experience. The staff is very attentive and care about all the students. They have so many different options that students can be apart of like homework club, private tutoring, or even their amazing summer program!

The first time I came across Optimus was with their vans in the after school pick-up line at my child's school. I had been skulking around Optimus website for awhile waiting for the opportunity to enroll my daughter in one of their programs. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and we had to put it off. After a year at home, my daughter was officially over being stuck at home and ask for some kind of summer activity.

She was reluctant to go to summer camp, but we enrolled her anyway. I'm not sure what has changed this summer, but she has become very outgoing and no doubt venturing over to Optimus had a role to play. I have never seen her so excited to go to school. What's more, she loved Ms. Mai's summer math so much that she would come home everyday talking about what she learned. We made the decision to enroll her in the after school program and this has been a godsend.

We are able to see when she gets in the van through the MyOLS app. She begged us for piano and again, not sure what Optimus did, but she is practicing on her own everyday for 20-30 minutes without me even reminding her. This weekend alone she practiced for about 2 hours straight.

Lastly, she begged everyday since the start of school to do private math enrichment with Ms. Mai. We've conceived and she is as happy as can be. (Btw Ms. Mai deserves a raise!)

Long story short, as a parent, my heart is full seeing my child excited about school and coming out of her shell.

My favorite part of the day is coming to pick her up and listening to her excitedly tell me she learned about rational numbers or how she had to partner up in class and write a story. Thank you everyone for helping my child learn and build confidence.
