Services
Hardscaping
We create durable, aesthetically pleasing hardscapes including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Our concrete paver installations offer superior longevity compared to poured concrete, with individual pieces that can be replaced if needed. Each project combines functional design with artistic elements to enhance outdoor living spaces while increasing property value.
Landscaping
Our comprehensive landscaping services transform outdoor spaces through custom planting designs and hardscape integration. We specialize in creating balanced ecosystems using climate-appropriate plants that provide year-round interest. From foundation plantings to complete yard renovations, our team ensures every landscape reflects the homeowner's style while maintaining ecological sustainability.
Drainage Solutions
We install customized drainage systems that protect properties from water damage. Our solutions include French drains, downspout redirection, and grading adjustments that manage runoff effectively. By addressing underlying water issues, we prevent erosion and foundation problems while maintaining the aesthetic integrity of your landscape through discreet, long-lasting installations.
Outdoor Lighting
Our low-voltage lighting systems enhance safety and extend outdoor usability after dark. We design custom illumination plans that highlight architectural features and landscape elements while improving security. Energy-efficient LED fixtures provide both functional lighting for pathways and atmospheric enhancements for entertainment spaces, all installed with minimal disruption to existing landscapes.
Modular Pools
We offer premium modular pool installations that combine luxury with practical design. These factory-built systems feature rapid installation with minimal site disruption. Available in various configurations, our pools include energy-efficient circulation systems and customizable finishes. From compact plunge pools to full-size entertainment-ready designs, we ensure seamless integration with existing outdoor spaces through coordinated decking and landscaping.

Caleb and his dad are awesome. They recently completed several projects at our home in Clemmons. This included lengthening our sidewalk, enlarging our patio, making a pad for our garbage and recycling cans, planting new trees and shrubs, and resolving a water drainage issue on the north side of our property. All work was completed in a very professional manner and the results are awesome!

I asked Tilson Outdoors to build a wall along my driveway against a hill. The quality of the wall was terrific. More important was the work done in the hill, itself, to make the hidden structures that will make sure the hill does not move the wall. That was the quality I wanted. Because of that I asked Tilson to work on 2 more projects, building a border along the front yard between the lawn and shrubbery as well as solve my erosion on the other side of my house.
The border stone was chosen from various options. It changed the front yard's appearance and dealt with some of the peculiarities. The erosion issue was attacked with subterranean pieces that consume the rain flow from the downspouts and surface water. It was a big project which will allow the land to have plants and look great instead like some wasteland. Finally, the transparency of Tilson's communication, effort to understand my concerns and to clearly help me understand the steps and goals provided me with confidence that I was getting well-served. I highly recommend Tilson.

I'm so happy we hired Tilson Outdoors for my large paver patio. They not only did an amazing job and it looks beautiful. but they truly were the best to work with. They are super nice, honest, hard workers and will for sure hire them again if and when we need the next job done.

We absolutely love our beautiful outdoor living area. Working with Richard and Caleb Tilson was honestly a joy. We went from never hanging out in our backyard to becoming outdoor people! This has been such a blessing.
