The technician did a proper Manual J load calculation the other companies just eyeballed it. I've been using New Orleans Mechanical Pros for our annual maintenance contract for three years now. They come out twice a year - spring and fall - clean the coils, check refrigerant levels, inspect the electrical, and give me a written report. Had a mini-split installed in my workshop/garage in Chalmette. The technician assessed the space, recommended the right BTU size for the square footage and ceiling height, and installed a Mitsubishi unit that runs whisper-quiet. He also explained how to use the inverter technology to save on electricity - I had no idea mini-splits were that efficient.
