Your Christ-Centered Community in Nashville
Gordon Memorial United Methodist has served as a spiritual cornerstone in historic North Nashville for over 149 years. Our mission centers on making disciples for Christ through worship, education, and community outreach. We offer weekly Sunday worship services at 10:00 AM and Sunday School at 8:30 AM, both available online for broader accessibility. Our ministries span intercessory prayer groups, youth programs, music ensembles, and social justice initiatives. We prioritize compassion and diversity, fostering a welcoming environment for all. Through partnerships like Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels, we extend our witness beyond the congregation. Our leadership team combines pastoral guidance with lay participation to ensure active community engagement. With a heritage rooted in United Methodist tradition, we remain committed to evolving with modern needs while upholding core Christian values. Regular events like the annual Homecoming Celebration strengthen communal bonds. Our digital presence, including Facebook Live broadcasts, ensures spiritual connection regardless of physical location. As we approach our 150th anniversary in 2025, we continue building on this legacy of faith and service.
