Your Fort Worth Wedding Venue & Historic Accommodations
Established in 1994, the Azalea Plantation B & B began as a vision by Richard and Martha Linnartz, who transitioned from a 25-year wholesale distribution career to pursue their passion for hospitality and antiques. After a two-year search, they acquired a 1940s plantation-style home in Fort Worth, Texas, transforming it into a warm, inviting bed and breakfast. The property, originally built by prominent local builder W.I. Browning, had previously served as a pastor's residence following a church ownership period. Our estate combines historic charm with modern amenities, offering seven bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and expansive grounds featuring gardens, a creek, and event spaces. We specialize in creating magical small weddings for up to 50 guests while providing luxurious accommodations for groups of up to 24.Our commitment to excellence extends to personalized event planning and maintaining the property's architectural integrity. Located near Sundance Square and the Stockyards Historic District, we offer convenient access to Fort Worth's cultural attractions. Our team, including co-founder Lance Linnartz, brings decades of combined experience in hospitality management and event coordination. We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences through attention to detail and exceptional service. Whether hosting weddings or group stays, our mission remains to share this historic property's beauty and legacy with our guests.
