Your Trusted Martial Arts & Mind-Body Training Center in Lake Oswego
The Oregon Ki Society-Aikido has been dedicated to spreading the principles of mind-body unification since its founding in 1974. As a non-profit educational organization, we offer training in Ki Development, Ki-Aikido, and Personal Kiatsu, following the teachings of Master Koichi Tohei. Our certified instructors, with 10-40 years of experience, provide traditional Japanese dojo training for all ages. We maintain strong affiliations with both the Northwest Ki Federation and Ki Society HQ in Japan. Our programs emphasize daily life application, conflict resolution, and holistic health through mind-body integration.

We operate locations across Oregon and satellite programs in community centers, schools, and universities. Our mission focuses on helping individuals cultivate positive energy and personal growth through structured, accessible training. We combine physical practice with mental discipline to create balanced, productive lives for our students. Our commitment to quality instruction has made us a trusted resource in Oregon communities for over five decades.

Services
Ki Development
Ki Development teaches mind-body unification through structured exercises and meditation. Our program helps students create positive life changes by harnessing their natural energy. Classes focus on practical applications for daily living, stress reduction, and personal growth through traditional Japanese methods.
Ki-Aikido
Ki-Aikido combines martial arts principles with energy awareness for conflict resolution. Students learn to redirect energy rather than meet force with force. Our training develops physical coordination, mental focus, and peaceful conflict resolution skills applicable to daily life situations.
Children's Ki-Aikido
Our children's program builds confidence and discipline through age-appropriate Ki-Aikido instruction. Classes teach focus, respect, and positive energy management in a cooperative environment. We help young students develop physical coordination and conflict resolution skills that support academic and social success.
Personal Kiatsu
Personal Kiatsu uses energy techniques to activate natural healing processes. This practice teaches self-care methods for maintaining physical and emotional well-being. Students learn to restore energy flow through touch and intention, supporting overall health and vitality.
Special Events
We host special events including workshops, demonstrations, and community outreach programs. These events provide opportunities to experience our teachings through hands-on participation. Our calendar features seasonal activities that showcase mind-body principles in practical applications.
