First Baptist Church Midwest

First Baptist Church Midwest has served as a spiritual cornerstone in the community since its founding during World War II. Established as a church plant from First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City, we were created to minister to the growing population around Tinker Air Force Base. Our congregation remains deeply rooted in the heart of Midwest Citys Original Mile, carrying forward a legacy of gospel-centered ministry spanning generations. As a cooperating Southern Baptist church, we uphold the inerrancy of Scripture and the core beliefs outlined in The Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Our mission extends beyond local boundaries to reach nations with the message of Jesus Christ. Through age-specific ministries for preschoolers, children, students, and adults, we foster spiritual growth at every life stage.

Weekly worship services blend traditional elements with contemporary relevance, featuring expository preaching and congregational participation. The church maintains strong ties to the Southern Baptist Convention while actively engaging in local outreach initiatives. Our leadership team combines pastoral care with administrative excellence, ensuring both spiritual and operational integrity. With over seven decades of service, we continue adapting to community needs while maintaining doctrinal fidelity. The churchs commitment to biblical truth remains unwavering, expressed through Sunday worship, midweek Bible studies, and specialized ministry programs. Our facilities accommodate both worship gatherings and community events, reflecting our dual focus on spiritual development and social responsibility.
