In November 2024 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had three small lumps in my right breast. My cancer was hormone-responsive, both estrogen and progesterone. So I chose to have a double mastectomy. I am thankful I did not have to get chemo or radiation. In July 2025, I underwent that double mastectomy and chose aesthetic flat closure without implant reconstruction. I had been looking around the area for any modality that I could to help with the scar tissue and adhesions.
It took until November 2025 before I found Thrapie Massage. I was booked with Shannon, and she has been a godsend ever since! She has helped loosen all of the scar tissue and uses various modalities to include massage, lymphatic drainage, e-stim, etc. I highly recommend Thrapie Massage and cannot say enough good things! I am thankful to have found!
