Since our beginnings in Tucson, Arizona in 1968, Iota Engineering has worked continuously in the electronic R&D field, designing and manufacturing innovative products for the lighting industry. Our initial focus on low-voltage solid-state ballasts for fluorescent applications gained national recognition when our DC ballast design was selected by NASA for use aboard SKYLAB, where it performed flawlessly through all missions. Today, we are pioneers and leaders in the lighting industry, specializing in state-of-the-art emergency lighting equipment for commercial, institutional, national, and international applications. Our product line has expanded to include AC/DC power conversion and battery charging equipment used in vehicular, recreational, solar, industrial, and telecommunication markets.

We continually expand our development of electronic equipment to keep pace with customer needs and industry demands, evaluating current and future requirements while utilizing state-of-the-art components to ensure superior performance. Our commitment to quality is demonstrated through an extensive Quality Control program that evaluates quality throughout the manufacturing process, supported by Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for precise data analysis. Our Sales and Customer Service Department is dedicated to helping customers determine individual requirements, providing quotations, shipping information, and assistance with field inquiries, while offering expertise in developing specialty projects tailored to unique needs.
