Empowering Latino Communities Since 1919
Founded in 1919, we are the longest continuously operating agency serving Latino communities in the United States. Our organization was established to address systemic discrimination faced by Mexican immigrants in Kansas City, starting as a volunteer school and clinic that has since evolved into a comprehensive service network. We operate 12 facilities offering health and human services, education programs, youth recreation, workforce development, and cultural initiatives.

Our leadership team brings decades of expertise in community development, education, and nonprofit management, with a collective commitment to equity and cultural preservation. We serve over 20,000 individuals annually through evidence-based programs tailored to the evolving needs of diverse populations while maintaining our founding mission of empowerment and inclusion.
