ROCA Salon has been a cornerstone of the Kansas City beauty industry since its founding in 1977. Originally established as Blondie's by my late husband Rod, our salon has built a legacy of excellence in hair care and client service over 48 years. Our team of highly skilled stylists, many of whom have decades of experience, has consistently delivered cutting-edge hair solutions while maintaining personalized attention to each client's unique needs. We have been honored to serve generations of clients, earning recognition as the Best Hair Salon in Kansas City by KC Magazine. While we regret to announce our permanent closure effective June 21, 2025, following the sale of our building, our commitment to client satisfaction remains unwavering.

Our stylists will continue providing their expert services at various new locations, maintaining access to all client records including hair color formulations. This decision, though bittersweet, comes after four decades of dedicated service to our community. We deeply appreciate the loyalty of our clients and the professional dedication of our team members who have made this journey so rewarding. As I transition into retirement, I take pride in knowing our team's expertise will continue benefiting clients through their new ventures. Our closure marks the end of an era, but the relationships and standards we've cultivated will endure through our stylists' continued work.
