North American Sand Soccer Championships

Since 1994, the North American Sand Soccer Championships (NASSC) has established itself as the premier sand soccer festival in the United States. Hosted by the Hampton Roads Soccer Council, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, our event combines competitive sports with community engagement through annual tournaments on Virginia Beach's oceanfront. With over 11,000 participants annually, we offer structured competitions for youth, adult, and professional athletes across multiple divisions while maintaining strict adherence to fair play standards. Our three-day event features professionally managed fields, certified referees, and comprehensive player safety protocols. Through strategic partnerships with local businesses and national sponsors, we generate critical funding for the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex's ongoing improvements.

Our experienced team of administrators, supported by dedicated volunteers, ensures seamless operations from registration through championship finals. The event's growth trajectory reflects our commitment to accessible, high-quality sports programming that benefits both athletes and the local economy. Our transparent registration process, clearly defined age groups, and standardized rules create a level playing field for all participants. The inclusion of professional photography, drone footage, and media coverage enhances the experience for competitors and spectators alike. As a community-focused organization, we maintain rigorous compliance with all regulatory requirements while continuously innovating to improve participant satisfaction.
