Quality Music Center

At Quality Music Center, we have dedicated ourselves to nurturing artistic talent in the Hampton Roads community for over 25 years. Our comprehensive programs in music, dance, and theatre have empowered more than a thousand students to achieve their creative potential through personalized instruction. We offer training in over 15 musical instruments, from traditional piano and guitar to specialized options like mandolin and viola, alongside dance instruction spanning tumbling, ballet, and hip hop. Our faculty comprises certified professionals with extensive performance and teaching experience, including industry veterans like Wayne and Muffy who have mentored multiple generations of students. Each year we produce three full-length musical productions specifically designed for young performers, providing valuable stage experience in a supportive environment.

Our commitment to community engagement extends beyond the classroom through partnerships with local schools and cultural organizations. Parents consistently praise our flexible scheduling options, which accommodate busy family routines while maintaining educational excellence. With two convenient locations in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, we serve students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners discovering their passion to advanced performers refining their craft. Our alumni success stories, including professional musicians and theater performers, attest to the lasting impact of our educational approach. We maintain rigorous quality standards through regular curriculum updates and student progress assessments, ensuring our programs remain at the forefront of performing arts education.
