Founded in the early 1970s, Lukes Locker began as a passion project for Dallas attorney Don Lucas, a dedicated runner who recognized the need for quality running gear in an era when jogging was just emerging as a mainstream activity. Partnering with a small Oregon company called Blue Ribbon Sports (now Nike), Don and his wife Sharon started importing shoes for their running group, The Nooners. As demand grew, their garage filled with inventory, eventually leading to the opening of the first Luke's Locker store on Oak Lawn in Dallas. Today, we continue to honor that legacy by providing expert shoe fittings, top-tier customer service, and a commitment to community engagement.
