Music Program
Our award-winning music program offers Band, Strings, Jazz Band, Steel Drums, and Guitar instruction. Led by OUSD Teacher of the Year Zack Pitt-Smith, students perform at professional venues and receive mentorship from Oakland East Bay Symphony musicians. The curriculum develops technical skill and artistic expression through diverse musical traditions.
Visual Arts
Taught by full-time instructor Susannah Prinz, our Visual Arts program explores multiple mediums and cultural traditions. Students create portfolio-quality work while studying art history and contemporary practices. The curriculum includes field trips to museums and art institutions for immersive learning experiences.
Sports Teams
We offer competitive sports teams in softball, basketball, soccer, track and field, and more. Our facilities include a full-size gym and turf field. The program emphasizes teamwork, physical fitness, and sportsmanship, with recent citywide championship titles in multiple sports categories.
Restorative Justice
