Games By James

At Games By James, we have dedicated ourselves to becoming the premier destination for games, puzzles, and family-friendly entertainment across the Midwest. Since opening our Southdale Center location on the 1st floor below Dave and Buster's, weve expanded our reach while maintaining a commitment to quality service and community engagement. Our stores curate an extensive selection of board games, card games, puzzles, and toys, catering to both casual players and dedicated enthusiasts. With six strategically located retail spaces in Minnesota and Wisconsin, we provide customers with immersive in-store experiences rather than online sales. Our team consists of knowledgeable game specialists who deeply understand local market preferences, ensuring every visitor finds exactly what theyre looking for.

We host regular events such as Magic: The Gathering tournaments to foster gaming communities and offer exclusive in-store product samplings unavailable elsewhere. Every location maintains strict inventory verification systems to guarantee product availability before visits. Our business model prioritizes personalized customer interactions over automated processes, creating meaningful connections with patrons. Through consistent operational transparency and a refusal to engage in generic mass-market practices, weve built trust as specialists in both classic and emerging gaming trends. This approach has solidified our reputation as the regions most trusted retail games network with decades of combined experience in curating exceptional play experiences.
