Compassionate Support for Families in Need
Catholic Charities has served vulnerable communities since 1968 as the social service arm of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Our mission centers on affirming human dignity through programs addressing poverty, housing insecurity, and social injustice. With over 50 years of experience, we provide comprehensive services including emergency shelter, food assistance, immigration legal aid, family counseling, and transitional housing. Our team of dedicated professionals and 66,000+ annual volunteers deliver these services across four facilities in Colorado Springs and Castle Rock. Guided by Catholic Social Teaching, we prioritize holistic care that combines immediate relief with long-term solutions, serving 119,711 unduplicated individuals annually regardless of background.

Our approach emphasizes relationship-building and community empowerment, demonstrated through initiatives like the 24-unit Hunt Family Housing project that addresses generational homelessness. We maintain transparency through annual reports showing 87 cents of every dollar directly supports client services, while our accreditation as a 501(c)(3) organization ensures ethical stewardship of resources.
