Questions
How do hidden dog fences work?
Hidden fences use buried wires transmitting radio signals. Pets wear collars that emit warnings and mild corrections when approaching boundaries. Training helps pets learn to stop at flags marking the boundary zone.
Are Dogwatch Pet Containment collars safe for pets?
Yes. Collars use harmless static-like stimulation with 15 adjustable levels. Most dogs learn to avoid correction after proper training, and systems include safety features like automatic shut-off.
What's included in the lifetime warranty?
The lifetime warranty covers outdoor hidden fence equipment defects. Excludes batteries and damage from misuse. Warranty requires proper installation and maintenance by authorized dealers.
Can systems work for multiple pets?
Yes. Systems support multiple collars with individual settings. Dealers can customize boundaries and training for different pets' needs within the same household.
How much do installations cost?
Costs vary based on property size, number of pets, and system type. Contact local dealers for free quotes. Prices typically include installation, training, and warranty coverage.
Do systems work with other brands?
No. Dogwatch Pet Containment systems use patented FM technology incompatible with other brands. Dealers recommend complete Dogwatch Pet Containment systems for optimal performance and warranty protection.
