Doug and the team at 1800waterdamage did a wonderful job. Having a flood is very stressful, but having a team that took over immediately was so helpful. I found out about the company through a realtor friend. I had major water damage under my home. They contact me within minutes and arrived at my house a short time later and started doing their thing. They followed up q uite often and they were polite and very professional. I was having siding repaired from water damage and the siding company found mold under the siding. They suggested 1-800 water damage and it was an excellent choice. They came out quickly and assessed the damage. They were thurough in reccomending how to mitigate the problem. I had hired a different company to treat mold damage in our crawl space previously but I felt 1-800 water damage was much more through in making sure the underlying issue was fixed so we wouldn't have reoccurring problems. I will call them again if we have anymore concerns in the future.

I had a water damage thing last June. It rained and a bunch of water came into our basement where we had a friend staying. I know that the company had a BIG PROJECT in process. They had all their people involved in a major money making deal. Doug called me and offered to have some of his people leave that job and come over to my house. It wasn't a critical issue, and I said that was not necessary.

They came over the next day and solved the issue. The point was that the offer was made and that is what 1-800-Water Damage is all about. Doug and NIta are incredible customer service people, and their employees get the job done professionally. I cannot thank Doug and Nita enough.

I awoke at 6 a.m. to a giant watery mess, thanks to a flooded toilet who's flap failed, and was clogged. I would like to add that it was my spouse's birthday, and he works close to 80 hours a week. I texted my insurance agent who gave me a name of a company that he recommended, which was not 1-800 Water Damage. Wanting to make a sound decision, I hit the internet searching for reviews as quickly as possible. 1-800-Water Damage kept coming up and was the only one that had either 5 stars, or an A with raving reviews.

I called Doug Stern, as my children were getting for school at 7:30 a.m., and he was at my home by 9 a.m. He had a crew of guys with him, who were friendly and immediately got to work. In one word to sum up Doug, he was simply amazing. He was very thorough, prompt, and paid attention to every little detail. He walked through my home to point out areas in my home outside of the damaged area that needed touch up. Doug helped negotiate with the painters, and even got them to touch up an area I had not noticed need painting. Doug was extremely helpful from sharing the knowledge of what my husband and I should receive from our insurance, to helping set up appointments for drywall, hardwood flooring, recommendations for a plumber, and painting.

He was helpful when it came to making decisions for paint and flooring. Doug surrounds himself with top-notch employees who always showed up clean, prepared to work, knowledgeable, and friendly. I dealt the most with Ryan, who is one of the hardest working people I know. Dealing with water damage is a process, and as one goes through the clean up process, more damage can be found than during the initial discovery. Overwhelmed with all that was going on with family life, a spouse who works a lot, and now a flooded house, I broke down in tears one more morning. Ryan was so understanding, and reassured me that my house would look better than before the flood.

Doug Stern and his crew were very professional as they remediated mold in the crawl space of a listing I had. He did not delay and the work was done in a timely manner. I had confidence that the mold was remediated correctly and my seller was pleased with the results. The buyer also had confidence that her new home would not be a health hazard and she was also pleased that closing on the property was not delayed by the mold remediation. I give 1 800 Water Damage a 5 star rating.

A big thanks to Doug Stern and 1 800 Water Damage! Being in the Real Estate business for the past 10 years we run into a lot of home inspection reports with claims of mold. Mold is never something you want to see on an inspection report. Doug always comes out to investigate and on the last two transaction he has identified that there was actually no mold and that what the inspector saw was dirt on wood. Doug calmed everyone's concerns on both side of the transaction. Thanks for your expert eye!

We called Doug & his 800 Water Damage Team out in the late evening for an exterior water leak we had during the holidays. He was extremely professional & knowledgeable about our issue and addressed everything immediately to prevent further damage to our home. He followed up by visiting our home the next day and followed up over the phone each day while their equipment was in our home drying out the moisture. Quick and responsive. In the end, that's what you want from a water damage and restoration service. I run a business in the Boise area that provides pressure washing among a number of other services. Rarely does our service ever cause damage to a customer's property. Unfortunately, in this instance, it did. The customer was concerned that water that leaked in through a sliding glass door would create mold under the carpet pad if left unattended.

I asked 1 800 Water Damage to come in on my company's behalf to confirm. To ensure there would be no danger of mold growing under the carpet, the team at 1 800 Water Damage took the necessary steps to correct the issue.
