read moreA1 PORTABLES has its roots in a small garbage collection company, here in Lexington, began by my Great Grandfather, R.B.Carroll, in 1935. In 1953 his son-in-law and my Grandfather, O.T. Reynolds, a World War II Navy veteran, purchased a portion of the business to begin his own garbage collection company. This company, at that time identified by his own name, became A-1 Sanitation Service as it became a septic waste and later a portable toilet enterprise. Our next change was when my own father, Eric Reynolds, graduating from Eastern Kentucky University in 1971, officially and in a full time commitment joined the business with my grandfather.
