I originally came to Las Vegas in 1972. Throughout this time the population of Las Vegas has expanded from approximately 350, 000 to its current estimated level of approximately 1, 986, 146 residents (as of December 2008) My long history in Las Vegas assists to supply valuable individual insight into the five sub-markets which comprise the Las Vegas Valley area today (City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, unincorporated Clark County, Boulder City)
