Abstract Books & Search Service

The Abstract is a tiny family-owned business set up in 1980. The shop is situated in a building at the rear of our house on the SW side of Indianapolis. It is fifteen minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport and easily accessible from I-465 and I-70. It is open by chance or appointment. Currently we're focusing on more unusual books and ephemera with some concentration in art, architecture, books on books, kids's books, entertainment, history, horticulture, Indiana and travel. Our collection of 20, 000 hardcovers includes books in slovenian and german. Of course fiction is generously represented.
