We focus on the skills that create success in higher education and in life: written and verbal communication. Our curriculum trains every single student, K-8, in public speaking. Academy Hill students consistently earn top marks on the SSAT and ISEE - not because we teach to the test, but because we develop their capabilities fully. Our school is small by choice - so that we can put in the time and give the individual attention needed to help our students achieve their full potential, however high that may be.

From the pre-K level through grade 8, we tailor each child's education to fit his or her own individual strengths and learning style. We build flexibility into our daily schedule to allow each student to work at his or her own pace, to accelerate as necessary and to have the opportunity to explore personal areas of interest. Academy Hill offers a very challenging curriculum at the elementary school and middle school levels.

Parents can get involved by participating in the Academy Hill School Parents' Association (AHSPA), volunteering in school, or joining one of our committees. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact your child's teacher, a school administrator or a member of the AHSPA.

All our alumni are welcome to come back to participate in our Alumni homecoming or just to visit campus whenever they have time. AHS is at a high school level, helping to prepare its students for schools that perform at college levels.
