Acre Family Child Care has been serving Lowell, Massachusetts since 1988. Our goal is to assist women build licensed, home-based family child care businesses while delivering community-based child care to the families of Lowell. Acre supplies care for nearly 400 kids every day, including overnight and weekend child care for parents working second and third shifts, in a network of family child care homes. Acre team visit the homes to monitor the quality of care, and provide family support services and early childhood training programs in multiple languages throughout the year.
