Theaters & Cinemas in Gainesville, FL In July of 2010 the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, situated at 619 S. Main Street, Gainesville, FL, was chosen to compete in the Pepsi Refresh Project. This yearlong project, funded by the Pepsi Corporation, strives to aid people, businesses, and non-profits, fund projects that will spark positive change in their communities. Each month, 1000 projects make the cut to compete. The public determines the winners by logging on, registering, and voting for their favorite projects.
