In 1998, Joan started NAET treatments. Within three months she no longer had restrictions to her diet and was no longer sensitive to foods, pollens, molds, and chemicals. In short, her life became normal again. Frustrated that this treatment had been available since 1983 but was not well known, Joan changed careers, and after obtaining a Masters degree from Dallas College of Oriental Medicine and extensive training with Dr. Nambudripod (the founder of NAET)
