read moreAgassiz Preschool is a parent-staff cooperative that serves 45 children ages 2 - 5. The school employs a highly experienced, professional staff committed to early care and education. At times seemingly chaotic, at other times perfectly quiet, the school is always warm and relaxed. It's a place where kids can fully be themselves while learning and having fun. Through play, we lay the groundwork for learning. We help intellects grow and imaginations emerge. We support kids in their first efforts in making friends, nurture self-esteem and confidence, and teach about trust, tolerance, and respect.

read moreIf you are interested in becoming a member of the Agassiz Preschool co-op, we urge you to apply in the Spring before the Fall you wish your child to enroll. Many families have already applied by February. About three-quarters of the places are generally filled by Summer. If you are applying for the Middle Group or the Oldest group, you should apply early for the best chance of admission since almost all enrolled children proceed to the next level each year. As part of the admissions process, we invite you to observe our school in action and to meet with the school director, at least one of the teachers, and a parent.

read moreParents may pay tuition by the month, semester, or year. Monthly payments are paid over 10 months, beginning August 1st for September. Tuition is paid at the beginning of each month for the following month and the last payment is due May 1st for the summer program. We now accept credit cards as well as checks. You may choose to enroll your child in the AM Program or the PM Program. In addition, we have four "extended days" during the week for those children who need to stay past 2:30. Regular Extended Day attendees choose which 1-4 days they will attend.
