Funeral Services in Warren, MI The Grosse Pointe Woods location opened in 1957, at Mack Avenue and Vernier Road where it has been situated for more than fifty years. As suburban Detroit grew, so did A. H. Peters, opening another funeral home on Schoenherr Road in Warren on June 6, 1974. In 1982 a new generation of the Peters family joined the business as Roy's son, David, started working with his father. They worked side by side for the next 17 years. Today, David continues to operate the business.

The attention to detail, care and comfort provided by Arthur Peters to the families he had the privilege to serve is the cornerstone of today's business. A.H. Peters has remained an independent funeral home. It is currently operated by Arthur's grandson, David. David Peters continues the traditions established by his grandfather over a 100 years ago.
