My father was a gardner in the town I grew up in. What time do you get out of school? Three o'clock Then meet me on Neptune Avenue, Ride your bike on over. And that was a beginning I will never forget. On given days I was required to show up at wherever my father's route of homes he was working on. I remember his Trimmer reel mower and my love of mowing lawns leaving horizontal patterns in ideal lines. Roses, Camellias and Fuchsias were an item I could be balled out for if I didn't give them the proper care.
