Danny D's Guitar Hacienda is a family run and run business in operation since 1981. Don Threlkeld and his son Bruce began it in Seabrook Texas as Mr. T's Pickin? Parlour and was committed to acoustic instruments and Bluegrass & Gospel music. In 1984 Danny Douglass came to work as a repairman and in 1987 with new wife Lynn took over operations of the tiny shop changing the name to Danny D's Guitars. A year later it was expanded to 4 times its size and by 1991 moved to Webster and was called Danny D's Music Center a complete line music store.

Because we are a smaller store, we get the opportunity to play, test, and inspect every single instrument we ship out. But it doesn't stop there, either. Our repair team performs a setup on each instrument before we ship it out. When you get the guitar, it will play as comfortable as we can get it. We don't sell guitars that we wouldn't play ourselves.
